Leslosanges has been working with Moroccan weavers for over 6 years. Since the beginning of our business, we’ve been keen to promote the ancestral work of these women. They often live in remote regions of Morocco, and travel is complicated. We wanted to limit the number of intermediaries, by creating a women’s cooperative so that everyone could benefit. The women’s work is paid its fair value. And by avoiding all the other middlemen, the end consumer pays less for his carpet.
